Real Kawaii Animals That Need Your Help
Kawaii Babies
Kawaii is all about the quality of being SUPER CUTE, or items that are cute.
And many of the kawaii items and products, like toys, clothes, and artwork were inspired by REAL cute animals.
A main influence of character development for kawaii characters are BABY ANIMALS :)
With their big beautiful eyes, big heads and fun, playful expressions.
From fuzzy fur, to long tails, to even their natural habits [ we're talk to you, lazy sloths! ].
So for this blog post we decided to dedicate it to those BEAUTIFULLY CUTE animals that need your help.
We want to be CLEAR, we are not sponsored in any way by ANY of these organizations.
We are really dedicated to bringing awareness to our furry friends and LOVE them so much that we want to help :)
Okie dokie, so in no particular order...let's dive in!
Here are 5 really special organizations making an impact on animal welfare:
1. ASPCA
The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals® (ASPCA®) was the FIRST humane society to be established in North America and is, today, one of the largest in the world.
They believe that animals are entitled to kind and respectful treatment at the hands of humans and must be protected under the law. WE AGREE!!!
They're a privately funded 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation located in NYC and do a tremendous amount of work in animal as well as animal placement, and protections.
Check out ways that you can help them out HERE.
2. WWF
The World Wildlife Fund® or WWF's unique way of working combines global reach with a foundation in science, involves action at every level from local to global, and ensures the delivery of innovative solutions that meet the needs of both people and nature.
AKA they do a lot of good for wildlife and the environments they live in!
Take a look HERE for a variety of ways to help them out.
3. Save The Manatee
Manatees are Florida’s official state marine mammal. They are listed as endangered at the international level by the IUCN World Conservation Union and at the federal level by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. Their listing status is largely due to human activity. Specifically, BOAT COLLISIONS.
This organization rescues, rehabilitates, and works on protecting sections of ocean waters as nature preserves, so they can live in a happy and healthy environment!
I mean...they look like an underwater teddy bear mated with a beaver. WE HAVE TO SAVE THEM!
So take a look HERE. There are lots of actionable steps you can take to help them.
4. African Wildlife Foundation
Based in Nairobi, Kenya — with offices in Washington, D.C. — the African Wildlife Foundation was founded in 1961 to work for wildlife conservation, land and habitat protection, community empowerment, and economic development in Africa.
AWF protects a variety of species from extinction, by helping local people and wildlife learn to live together. Some of the foundation’s work includes training rangers, using sniffer dogs [animals helping animals, LOVE!] and empowering communities.
HOW COOL IS THAT?!

5. Farm Sanctuary
Farm Sanctuary rescues, rehabilitates, and provide lifelong care for hundreds of animals who have been saved from stockyards, factory farms, and slaughterhouses.
They have three main shelters, and rescued residents are given the care and love they need to recover from abuse and neglect. All of the animals enjoy nourishing food, clean barns, and green pastures each and every day.
What's really special - they have tiny luxury homes that you can rent at the sanctuary! Pretty cool.
Help them out HERE.
So there you have it!
Feel free to share this with anyone you think would like to help these organizations.
We think the biggest and best way to live the kawaii-life is protecting our planet and all the super cute creatures that live on it.
Let us know what kind of animal you'd like to see us help out!
We'll make some designs of those animals and use the profits to donate to nonprofit organizations that protect them. YAY!
Feel yummier,
